Just under 20 companies trading on the OTCBB hit all-time highs on Tuesday. The list of companies included Lighting Science Group Corporation (LSCG), Anavex Life Sciences (AVXL), Sentry Petroleum (SPLM), Transgenomic Inc (TBIO), and Sun River Energy In (SNRV).
Lighting Science Group Corporation (LSCG) saw shares climb to an all-time high of 5.39 on Tuesday following last week’s summit in Florida where company executives with their supplier counterparts in order to strengthen their manufacturing supply chain. Shares closed at 5.25 on the day and the company, which designs, develops, manufactures and markets LED lighting solutions that are environmentally friendlier and more energy efficient than traditional lighting products, is well ahead of their 50-day moving average of 3.27 and 200-day moving average of 2.16.
Anavex Life Sciences (AVXL) continues to put up strong numbers following positive feedback regarding their drug ANAVEX 2-73 had been named 2010′s “most promising trial drug” by the editorial staff at Alzheimer’s Weekly. Sentry Petroleum (SPLM) reached a new all-time high on Tuesday as shares hit 2.30 during the trading day before closing at 2.29 on nearly 5x its average trading volume. The exploration stage company, which is engaged in the assessment, acquisition, exploration, and development of oil, gas, and other hydrocarbon properties in Australia and other regions in Austral Asia, is comfortable ahead of its 50-day moving average of 1.60 and 200-day moving average of 1.05.
Transgenomic Inc (TBIO), coming off the closing of the acquisition of Clinical Data’s Diagnostic Business and the closing of a $6 million financing saw shares climb to an all-time high of 0.92 on Tuesday. Shares in the company, which provides products for the purification and analysis of nucleic acids used in the life sciences industry for research primarily on molecular genetics and diagnostics, eventually closed at 0.90 but that remains above the 50-day moving average of 0.60 and 200-day moving average of 0.54.
Sun River Energy Inc. (SNRV) saw volume nearly 8x its average on Tuesday as shares hit an all-time high of 3.75 before closing at 3.50. The development stage company, which development stage company, focuses on the exploration of oil and gas properties in North America, remains above the 50-day moving average of 2.38 and its 200-day moving average of 1.85.
